Hello! I’m Natalie Taylor, a nonfiction and documentary producer based in Portland, Oregon. Currently, I’m a senior producer at Blue Chalk Media.
I create docuseries, branded content, television shows, educational series, short videos, and feature-length documentaries. I also love coaching and teaching.
I was the showrunner of From the Source, a TV show about where our food comes from that aired for three seasons on the Magnolia channel. I also led a team of over twenty people who created more than a hundred entertaining and informative explainer videos for Pearson Education’s college humanities courses.
I love my job because every day is different. I get to collaborate with wildly talented creators, meet inspiring people, and think big thoughts while being responsible for the small details. I am a systems person and love putting together teams that get. things. DONE.
I got my M.A. in journalism with a concentration in visual communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I was a Roy H. Park Fellow.
