As a tech company that makes productivity software, Atlassian wanted to raise awareness of their brand by demonstrating how an open approach to work makes teams stronger, faster, and more capable of reaching their goals.

Instrument, a Portland-based digital innovation agency, invited Blue Chalk to partner with them to create three short-form documentary stories for the Atlassian Open campaign. Each piece tells the story of real teams who exemplify the brand’s guiding principles and “work open” to overcome incredible obstacles and achieve real progress.

An architecture professor and computational designer, Sean noticed how Ara’s abilities changed depending on her environment. He decided to create a structure that could help his daughter and other children with autism spectrum disorders — but he couldn’t do it alone.
