The Hollywood Theatre is a nonprofit in Portland, Oregon whose mission is to entertain, inspire, educate and connect the community through film, while preserving a historic Portland landmark.
This video showcases the Hollywood Theater Education Programs, which partner with a diverse group of local schools to provide media arts training and film screenings for over 2,000 young people each year. Nigel, a high school student in Portland, is just one of the young people who has been profoundly changed through the Hollywood Theatre’s programming.
